After trying a fan of "another brand" that was sent back, I bought THIS one (and then a second one). I mainly use it for aromatherapy for about 1 hour a day. It performs well in speed, but I only need the lowest speed. There are 3 speeds, it blows quite hard, especially if you hold it to your face as a cooling mechanism (which can be very desirable in hot weather). The bendable arm is a great feature and the clip holds the fan snugly and securely. The main thing I don't like is that you have to get to the other two higher speeds before you can turn them off (from the lowest speed)... but that's common with most multi-speed fans. I always have it plugged into an outlet, so I can't comment on the battery life at the moment. Overall I am very happy with the fan(s). Also, a few weeks after purchase, I was contacted by the company's support team to see if I liked the fan and if everything was ok. They also appreciated my good review. I think that's a big plus *since most other sellers* don't and just care about making a quick buck. Full 5 stars for that! :-)
