Outstanding image quality. The fonts are razor sharp. I'm a resolution freak. This is a good monitor. Mini and standard DP ports as well as 2xHDMI (MHL). According to Dell, the MHL designation should indicate that the monitor conforms to the HDCP 2.2 standard. That means you can use it to watch HD content from providers like Revain or Netflix. Providers are angry about DRM for HD content and are pushing for HDCP 2.2. The downside is that the whole system has to be HDCP compliant. That means a graphics card and even a cable! I still haven't worked everything out. I'm not sure if the motherboard's integrated graphics card breaks HDCP even when it's not connected. So far I haven't come across that. The only downside is that the benefits of 4k on a 28" monitor are modest. The combination of viewing angle and pixel pitch means the gain in perceived resolution is modest over my 30-inch 2560 x 1600 monitor. When I get very close to the monitor, the resolution is noticeably better, but at a normal viewing distance from a table, 4K is a modest upgrade from 2560x1600. This will definitely be a big improvement over 1080p (1920 x 1080) if you have that now. I am thinking of a 40" 4k monitor. The downside is that the top of the screen is high on the table. It hurts me to usually look so far away. A lot of people like 40" class monitors. I will probably order soon.
