These little speakers sound way better than I ever could have imagined. For the price I didn't have high expectations, they were bought along with a Moukey karaoke amp and microphone as a Christmas present for my kids and the sound exceeded all my expectations. Just tweaking the bass a bit they sounded pretty good so I cranked them up just to see when they start to distort and still not miss a beat. A little boomy hum, but very, very little distortion. The highs were very clear. The only problem I had that wasn't enough to pull the imo star off was when I screwed in the terminals to put the banana clips in, one terminal was loose, that's easy to fix and that's it. I would recommend them to anyone who is on a tight budget but still needs quality sound. Now, I'm not saying that a $1,500 high-end speaker set will blow your mind, but they will outperform off-the-shelf speakers that cost many times over.
