My son has been wearing crocodiles since he was baby size. They're great for putting on before he runs outside to play, and they hold up really well considering they're made out of some sort of rubbery foam material. He wore his last pair until his fingers touched a sock and a back strap finally broke in a bike accident (and then he STILL wore them as slip-ons until that order came in!) He always had a pair of browns, which dirt really well hide but I liked the navy blue pair we ordered because they go great with jeans and his Abercrombie kids shirts which always seem to have a bit of navy in them. When you buy a pair they may appear oversized at first but they are very comfortable for your child and each pair will give you AT LEAST a full year of wear if not two years as they are like a full size and a half if not two full sizes in one are shoe. We can't live without them in the summer and he loves them so much that I have to buy lined ones for the winter or he's in his normal 40 degrees outside! (Winter liners really help keep feet comfortable in cold weather.) They'll go camping with you year-round for quick dressing and to make going to the bathroom at midnight and when your little one is prone to puddles like mine to wade, they dry up. .
