The crown is made of lightweight foam for a comfortable fit. However, the crown you sent me looks like it has been worn before? The filigree was broken at the forehead, hairpins were attached to the parting as if someone had left them there, and brown on the inside (makeup stains?). If I didn't need it for a party in less than 48 hours I would return it.
