My wife and I bought this scale after our newborn lost some weight at the 1 month appointment. Our baby is breastfed so my wife wanted to be able to check her weight closely to make sure she was gaining weight. Installation is easy, the scale has two plates that snap onto the base. The weight can be set in kg or lbs at the push of a button. The backlit LED panel is clear and easy to read. We tested accuracy by putting a 1 pound weight on the scale and it was 100% accurate. Our baby stands comfortably and comfortably on the scales and at 6 months is still weighing himself without any problems. Be sure to place the scale on a hard and level surface, otherwise your results will be inaccurate. Carpet, for example, is not a reliable substrate. Scales take up a small area and easily fit under the bed. Panels take a minute to remove and storage is even easier. Highly recommended.
