Review on TheBalm BalmShelter Silky-Smooth Tinted Moisturizer: The Ultimate Skin Saver by Carrie Williams

Update: I wanted to love this product so badly that I waited too long to finally admit to myself that it was the reason for the biggest breakthrough I've had in years. My entire forehead was covered with white pimples from irritation. They have lessened since I stopped using them three days ago, but my skin needs time to recover. This tinted moisturizer is NOT suitable for sensitive, combination/acne-prone skin! This is the best tinted moisturizer I've ever used. It's the only one I've used that doesn't oxidize terribly and doesn't leave my skin shiny and melting at the end of the day. Mattified but not super moisturizing. So if you have dry skin, you probably need another moisturizer underneath. Also, "lighter than light" is the perfect color for my fair skin. It's more pigmented than other tinted moisturizers I've used, so I think it's the perfect medium between a full coverage foundation and a natural finish.
