I wanted my little one to sit in his own chair and learn to play on his own so I looked around for lots of Montessori chairs and tables. The pieces in this set are sturdy and appear to be made of good quality wood (these pieces are not flimsy and definitely have some weight). All corners are smoothed and the wood is glazed, making clutter easy to clean up. It has been thought through down to the smallest detail, because the dimensions can be changed by turning the table and chair around, reassembly is not necessary. My kid likes to use the table as a stand and draw on it with his chalk (again, it's easy to clean). I think he will be able to use it for a few years. The price is reasonable and actually less than many other Montessori chairs and tables I've seen. I highly recommend this product and this brand!
