I purchased this light (yes I paid full price) for a recent trip to Hawaii for my first night manta ray dive. I bought it with my Go Pro 7 in an underwater box. Unfortunately the housing failed AND the GoPro failed (only at 35ft!) but this flashlight was a real rock star! During a manta ray dive, you'll descend and land on the ocean floor as bright lights shine alongside you. Lights attract plankton, and plankton attract rays. Essentially you sit there as they glide around you and slide over your head, feeding on the rays of light you are holding. Having both the flashlight I was given and this light, I was a MAGNET Manta! It was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of my life. I managed to get a few shots and a short video clip before my GoPro decided to stop working, but this light was amazing! It attaches perfectly to the pro cage and dive box and is completely foolproof. The battery lasted the entire dive (about an hour) and I haven't charged it since and it still turns on. It was very easy to wash off the salt water after the dive. I'm really happy with this light for the price and definitely recommend it! Just be careful not to shine them in anyone's eyes as they are VERY bright and can cause damage/injury. The pulsing light option is also cool because it mimics the signal you would give a flashlight underwater in the dark to let your divemaster or friends know something is wrong. If you are looking for a cheap GoPro dive light (assuming it works) this is a great choice!
