A definite improvement over our previous clothing line. Before they arrived I thought they would be a lot more flexible than they actually were and that I would have to knot the ends. Please note that the wire is quite thick. This is positive and potentially negative. On the other hand it saved me from having to tie a complicated knot to keep the line taut but I can see if you have arthritis etc. I can see where this line can cause some difficulties because it requires a lot of hand strength. that I have to turn it several times to secure it. At the same time, this is such an improvement of our clothing line. No more sagging, even with a whole row of wet beach blankets and towels. And because the wire is just twisted and not tied, it's very easy to re-tighten if you ever get slack.
