We fitted this to one of our race cars that does not have a working speedometer (the speedometer was originally a cable speedometer and we no longer have a gearbox, the cable supports speedometer ) and works fine. As long as you have a compatible sensor; Installation takes 5 minutes at most. Basically you plug it in and route the cable, install the little box and you're done. There is nothing more to say here; It works as intended to give you a speedometer in a car that doesn't have a compatible output method or sensor for your replacement kit.
