I received these headphones about five minutes ago and am very disappointed. I connected it to my iPhone 6 and immediately heard a crackle. I thought maybe it was because they were new but I turned on the youtube video and there was no sound even though the headphones were firmly plugged in. I wiggled the plug a bit (which I shouldn't have done as these too are literally fresh out of the box) and the sound came out tinny, in one ear, then the other, and then cut off again. I had to fiddle with the connector to get smooth sound, and the slightest movement or tampering with the headphone jack ruined everything - crackling, no sound, only sound in one ear, whatever. I bought Soundmagic headphones about four years ago and they still work great to this day. Right after that I tried my old headphones and they work fine so it's clearly not a phone. I will either ask for a replacement pair or a refund. Very very disappointed that the quality of the product has dropped so drastically.
