Review on ๐Ÿผ Elvie Pump Breastmilk Storage Bottles: Essential Accessories for Breastfeeding Mothers (3 Pack) by Steve Fields

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Elvie Pump is what real feminism is, thanks to these flanges it fits smaller nipples

. I have smaller nipples (actual nipple size was 15mm in diameter during pregnancy before breastfeeding, now they are larger, around 19mm actual size. Another weird body change due to breastfeeding) than the supplied flanges elvi (24mm and 28mm ). I can actually use a 24mm flange with a BeauGen pad, but washing and replacing extra parts is annoying. I bought two pairs of 21mm flanges and they work great. I work with a couple of men in a trailer with no drinking water. These and all Elvie parts are easy to clean in a microwave safe steam bag. For expectant mothers looking for an Elvie pump, I highly recommend it, especially if you work. My son was born at 35 weeks and I only had 6 weeks off. He could always suck, but he didn't have the stamina to drink for a while, so I pumped from the start. I exclusively use an elvie breast pump, I also have an ameda maya breast pump without insurance, I hate it - these are all disadvantages compared to elvie: noisy, tubes and containers everywhere, no difference in the milk collected, you can't do anything like wash utensils/ holding the baby/etc.

Pros
  • PUMP EVERYWHERE: collects and stores breast milk during pumping. Perfect for feeding together or getting back to work.
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
