The zippers are strong and I like the layout. The internal zipper on the body (which I used for passports) often opened up when I moved the pack left or right after putting it on. Since it was the wrong size (MUCH SMALLER THAN SPECIFIED) I had to buckle it first. I then twisted it to ride on my hip so it would open. I could have lost our passports (or money or whatever). Fortunately everything worked out, be careful. My biggest disappointment was that when I contacted them about an extension or other solution, they were not interested in discussing the permit. So I had to cut my old one and sew it myself. Adjustment rings weren't very strong either. I had to constantly adjust it to keep it from falling off my waist. No fun when you travel around the world!
