Update my review. After my first evaluation (see below), the manufacturer contacted me directly. They informed me that this product is a slightly older version and may not be 100% compatible with my device. They sent me an updated version (I think it is: https://amzn.to/2NaDIg6). The new device works great and I have no problems. I gave this product one star because of the customer support. I have used many Anker products with no problems. But this is the first time I have had contact with them. Your customer support was top notch. However, I'm giving this particular product 3 stars because it doesn't work properly. I will rate another product separately but this is a 4 star product (no cable included otherwise it would have been 5 stars). ---- First check: charger had ground loop problems. It buzzed constantly. And it caused noise in my sound system. Worst of all, this often caused my phone to turn off immediately if it was unplugged (shock or power surge). I exchanged it to confirm that the problems are related to this charger.
