Very warm, soft and fluffy without much shedding. I have to sleep in a chair due to sinus issues and can use it as a blanket easily and comfortably. When I get up, I stick my head through the gap and can carry it with me. The back is shorter than the front, which is actually a good thing. It covers my entire front and back just below my butt. It makes going to the toilet easier and doesn't choke me when I sit in it. I was afraid it might be too warm with the sherpa lining and fluffy outside, but this is perfect. Not too hot with the sides open, but warm enough when needed. Love it. I'm 5'2" and it completely covers my front when I'm standing, but I don't trip over it or anything.
