Review on CASIO Classic Black Resin Strap Quartz 18 Casual Watch (Model: EAW-F-91W-1) by Katrina Davis

Good: I've had this watch for about two weeks and I LOVE it. It's EXTREMELY light (almost impossible to feel it on your wrist unless you squeeze it so hard it cuts off blood flow, which you shouldn't be doing anyway). If it's properly dressed, you won't feel it. The time is easy to read. The strap is plastic, meaning it's water-resistant and you don't have to take it off to wash your hands (like I had to and am annoyed with all my leather straps). It also displays the day and date, which is very useful during a busy work week when everything starts to blur. Has a retro 1980's vibe that's now totally in tune with Stranger Things and hipsters and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Somehow, despite all these features, the watch still only costs $9. Therefore, I am offering this watch as the best value for money of any watch. I thought my $20 Timex was good value but after purchase this Timex watch just sits in my desk drawer as it seems comparatively heavy and requires special care (linen strap which smells bad after a few weeks and needs checking have to go to). I wear this watch every day and have an odd pleasure in wearing it. Best $9 I've spent in a long time. Has a 100% functional/pragmatic aesthetic that's fun to use. It's a shame I didn't buy this watch a year ago. I really enjoy using this backpack watch as I'm not afraid of theft, shows time quickly (digital), doesn't pick up odors or show dirt and weighs nothing. The Bad: The only thing I wanted from this watch was the Indiglo feature, like the Timex watch, because the backlight feature on this watch is enough to see, but it's not as good as the Timex Indiglo.
