I have kept my home singing machine in a dust jacket in the corner for years, except when I am using it. However, I was about to move across the country and decided it was time to buy a suitcase. Great case! The only two negative things I can say is that I would have liked the underside to be a little stiffer for support, but it still sits well in the case even with movement. Secondly, due to the ribbed hole, it is a little inconvenient to insert the machine because it does not slide easily. It's the perfect size to hold the car without leaving too much around the car which I would be concerned about. it shifts too much while driving. I love bags! They are perfect to carry all my ideas and extra legs. I used to have them in a separate case. I think you keep your ideas in a separate thinner case, it fits in this case too! Overall very happy with this purchase.
