Bought this with branded makeup erasers. Functionally, both work the same, but I find these smaller pads from other manufacturers more comfortable to use. The finger pocket allows for better control when brushing and I love that I can wash it after each use. The laundry bag and storage bag only add to the convenience. With a traditional makeup eraser, I have to pick and remember which section of fabric I used previously. If it's in the wash, it's out of order. There are more than enough pads in this set to ensure I don't run out of them even when the laundry comes back. A++++++
