I'm very stupid, I use Q-tip to blow my nose, yes to pick, it's better than a finger. I'm sure this isn't the recommended use, so don't try it at home. Other than that, the precision tips work great for my intended use. I have been using the Qtip brand for years. I've tried several alternative brands but haven't found any yet. I've always felt that Qtips is better. The problem with the Qtip brand is that the tip gets damaged about 50% of the time, so it's basically just a round tip for double the price. I've contacted Qtip repeatedly about this over the years and nothing has changed. I was also offered to send vouchers which never arrived. Looking ahead, I found this unnamed brand at Revain, and while the price wasn't much better, I decided to give it a try. I'm here to tell you that the item is 100% accurate and solid on my product when it arrives. They're a little smaller than the Qtips, but they're built better and actually last longer. In short, this is my brand now and if you are looking for these types of precision cotton swabs, I encourage you to try them.
