I've read some other reviews of other port savers - one guy bought a lot of them and only some worked while others just bought one that didn't work. So I got it. here is a link to their website (which has a 6" port saver) -> "[.] seems to be of good quality, I'm sure it will work with whatever you choose to do. I think the latest HDMI cables are version 1.4? and they have some ethernet capability, and also have audio return.=========================
