Susan Peterson was my adjunct professor of ceramics when I was a student at Hunter College in New York many years ago. My little clay brick in books! We learned clay/glaze chemistry and more. She could look at the end result of her research (glaze or clay mass) and knew exactly what it took to get the end result she wanted! (what chemicals) It meant that you can realize an idea!
