User friendliness; High quality pictures

At the time of writing this article I have had 3 of these cameras and there hasn't been an atom of problems with any of them. I have 36 cameras in my collection ranging from the 1894 Kodak Panorama to the 8x10 View Camera and top quality Nikons. Like many others, I carried my gear in a large camera bag that was becoming increasingly cumbersome. There were two key insiders I was supposed to photograph, but I couldn't because I didn't bother to grab the "big bag". This prompted me to purchase a small, decent quality camera that could be stowed under the car seat for emergencies. After reading the reviews, my choice fell on the Panasonic Lumix 8X - 14 megapixels. I already had one of the larger Leica Lumix devices that produces super images. When "little Lumix" arrived, I stood on the front porch and filmed a street sign half a block away. The enlarged image was surprisingly clear, so I grabbed a large Lumix and photographed the same view. An 8x10 magnification of both images showed VERY little difference. All in all, I've only used the large Lumix twice in the last year. The image quality of the DMC-FH20 is so impressive that I used it to take almost all of the contemporary photos used in my Passing Scene photo book series. It's no coincidence that the FH20 can make quick, high-quality manual copies of old photos, which is far more convenient than scanning each one individually. But the biggest surprise is the HD video quality, both visually and audibly. If you doubt me for even a second, go to YouTube and watch this: [.] MUST WATCH this video in YouTube's highest resolution. There was little light in the room and shooting a video was an instant decision. You can change the setting from photo to video in 4 seconds. Results? You can read music charts in the back of the room and the sound quality speaks for itself. Great!
