While I just purchased these and don't yet know their durability, based on my initial impression, they are great. I bought a Brother PTouch label maker to use with them and have now produced labels for my entire garden, which has over 150 varieties of plants. The label maker will print 3 rows of type on the 1" labels that fit these markers perfectly. I used clear. NOTE THAT THESE HAVE A WHITE ENAMELED FACE, not stainless as it may appear to be in the photo. This was not a problem for me, just a bit of a surprise. The tines are sturdy and the plates, when used with the labelmaker, are easily visible from where they are staked. Very pleased with this purchase.
