First of all this unit came missing metric locknuts and was covered in dust. I had to clean it up. It wasn't a good start. This item is advertised for use on wheels as it comes with a lock. They had the foresight to provide 2.5" screws for mounting that are (WTF?) too long to mount in an RV wall. Have these people ever seen an RV? So no, it's not intended for use in a camper van after all. After figuring out how to make a proper bracket which required an extra piece of 8x12x1 wood that would actually fit onto the base of the TV on wheels so we could mount the bracket on the extra wood, we note that this is also the swing arm is not really centered. . . It's 5/8 to the right and 3/4 too far down. It was fun to discover this by putting a 40" TV in a 42" corner. In general, this thing belongs in the bin now; it's useless garbage.
