Conclusion: The DW9281 Series B is an EXCELLENT iron. Pros: The amount of steam this iron puts out is second to none. 1800 W corresponds to a very hot ironing surface. Weighing 4.1 pounds. (including a full water tank) it's not light, but its weight helps smooth out even stubborn creases, but can be tiring during long ironing sessions. The settings are easy to read. The vapor pump and atomizer feel purposeful and work efficiently. Made in Germany. Cons: The color is very different from the one in the photo. Iron is NOT red, it's dark purple brown. Color preferences are of course subjective, I personally find them very unattractive and consider photographs to be misleading advertising. Although the water tank is translucent, it can be difficult to see the water level at a glance. Most of the iron is made of plastic of varying quality. The handle feels nice and solid, but the plastic closest to the ironing plate and base looks and feels like it belongs on an iron half the price of this one.
