this is a gift for my 10 year old grandson. He's pretty smart and makes YouTube videos with his phone. He wanted a camcorder for better and easier video recording. He has no problem with it and loves that he has a remote control. His father says it's a good camera because it also takes pictures. All in all, it was a cheap way to ensure my little one becomes the next YouTube star!
