I used this item for about a month before it stopped working completely. I tried changing the batteries in the candle and the batteries in the remote control (which I had to order from Revain so I spent even more money) only to find it broken. The candlelight was nice but I didn't like the timer feature. I figured it was more of a "sleep timer" feature so I set it up when I started my work day and it would automatically turn off when I got up from my desk at the end of the day, but it works as is 8 o'clock . On/off timer 8 hours. So it appeared in the middle of the night or when I was at work. I may have misread the description, but I think a sleep timer feature would make a lot more sense. Of course I wouldn't buy this candle again as it broke right after the return window! ETA: The seller offered a refund for a defective item, which I accepted, so I upped that star for customer service. Maybe I just had a dirty candle because there are a lot of positive reviews.
