I usually use Burt's Bees Soapbark, a wonder product for combination skin with an oily T-zone. But I got bored so gave it a try after hearing that squalene is a mild detergent. Works fine and smooth. I'm not sure it works as well as Burt's Bees soap bark and there are fewer of these for the same price. It is similar to an oil face wash and is less creamy. If your face reacts to products or you think you should use a moisturizing skin oil, it's worth a try. If you have redness, brittleness or hard scales around an oily nose, which I always do, Burt's Bees Cleanser is creamier, nourishes my skin and lasts longer. But The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser is a good moisturizer. Both phases can be used in Korean skin care. Bert's Biz will win if I have even one.
