The photo shows that the lining is almost plush, like fleece. The real thing is polyester/nylon on the outside and thin fleece on the inside. I don't mind paying more for better stuff, but it's hard to find lined pants for toddlers. Update 01/13 After a few washes, the lining began to separate from the outer fabric. It still "sort of" works/serves the purpose, but not sure if losing the inner lining would be practical.
