Poor quality bedding
This is new bedding, bought because in this case they are 'Blippi' sheets. They were bought to let the baby sleep in his own crib; Mission accomplished. And since you get the duvet with the sheets, they're quite a bargain. As for the linens, they are of quite cheap quality. But maybe they will soften up after a few washes. Or they can burn out badly and fall apart. And maybe by then he'd be sleeping in his own bed, no matter what sheets were on it.
