It really feels like typing on a typewriter. Unfortunately, my only experience with a typewriter was an updated version of this: when you press backspace, white text is overlaid on top of the text. The car belonged to an old classmate of mine. The keyboard itself comes in a large box containing the actual keyboard box (and believe me I thought it would survive the Matryoshka moment). There's a tool in the box to remove the keys if needed, and the keyboard itself is covered in clear, soft plastic that covers the keyboard and the cable attached to it. It also works well while gaming or as a primary/secondary keyboard for laptops and desktops.
