Love the feel of holding these mugs, they won't slip out of your hand. This tea set gives you 4 ounces of tea at a time and you drink about 1 ounce in small cups. Your filter is a nice fine mesh that is perfect for catching most tea leaves. I've spent some time preparing all types of loose tea - white needles, sencha, oolong tea, black tea, flowering teas, spiced teas. Most of the catch goes through the filter. What is actually left in my cup sinks to the bottom and doesn't cause any problems. I preferred to put the Sencha in the filter bag and then in the teapot. It doesn't come with the teaspoon that some others show in their photos, but that doesn't matter. It comes with tweezers, very useful for pulling large wilted leaves out of the pot. It comes with a cute little kitchen towel that I haven't used yet. The product size is perfect. It's about the size of a child's school lunch box. I plan to travel with it, but for now I'm using a pot, common jug, filter and cup. All of this fits on the included tea tray, which is small enough to stand on a towel on the corner of my desk. The spouts of both the teapot and communal jug tend to slosh to one side during pouring. That's why I use a towel. I don't care because I'd probably be clumsy anyway. But just so you know, it's a little tricky to water well. I am satisfied with this product. This is very good for the price range.
