I had another dock but it was only compatible with my PC and I prefer Mac. The most frustrating thing was not being able to add monitors to my MacBook before this docking station. Now that I have this neat little contraption, I can finally use additional screens and go beyond mirror mode. As someone in the podcast world, I cannot express how important this is! I no longer have to worry about my mic responding to mouse clicks when I move screens while recording because I can now use multiple monitors. What a lifesaver!
