Review on FoodVille MF02 Rechargeable Bulletproof Cappuccino by Gordo Prince

We don't often write product reviews, but we're so pleased with the FoodVille Rechargeable Milk Frother and the company's customer service that we wanted to share our experience. (You can find some tips at the end of our review). First, it's a very powerful 3-speed foam concentrate. Because it's rechargeable and lasts a strong charge for a month or more depending on how often we use it, and we use it multiple times a day, we don't have to spend money on batteries like we did with our old blower . We have switched to a FoodVille frother, we have used a PowerLix milk frother for two and a half years and many of these have failed after two to six months. The engine just ran out for no apparent reason. We kept this product because we got some free spares and it was the best performing we could find (as long as we kept fresh batteries in it). Although we recycle our batteries for cost and environmental reasons, we balk at the frequency with which we have had to change the batteries in the PowerLix Foamer. We finally got fed up with PowerLix when the last two we bought failed within the first week. There are so many frothers with different names that look exactly like PowerLix and are probably made in the same factory that we wanted something completely different. The FoodVille milk frother meets all requirements. What we are writing now may seem negative at first, but ultimately it is not. Our first FoodVille milk frother had a fault. The shaft in the hole where the frothing tube and mini whisk attach was slightly off-center, causing wobbles in use. Regardless, the overall design and performance of the blower is good enough on medium and extra high settings that it still lathers well. Unless the aforementioned PowerLix stick was well balanced and straight, frothing our bulletproof coffee was almost impossible. The frother vibrated too much and the power (RPM) was higher than some other frothers but not strong enough to solve this problem. Although the first FoodVille milk frother works well despite the flaw, for our money it's the perfect thing. We contacted FoodVille customer service and Elisa responded immediately and offered to send us two new foam sticks and two new mini whiskeys to solve our problems. We were on a short trip out of town and didn't reply for a few days so Eliza contacted us again. When we emailed her that we had accepted her offer, she instructed her company to ship them immediately and we received them promptly. When we tried the new attachments, we had the same problems as before. As we took a closer look at the frother and tried to figure out what was wrong, we found that the shaft was slightly off-center in the small hole in the body where the frother and mini beaters attach. Eliza emailed to see if we received any attachments and if the issue was resolved. We responded with what we thought was the main problem and attached photos. She immediately called us back and offered us a gift card code to buy a replacement Revain. We got our new FoodVille frother and it works great! The old FoodVille, although a bit noisier and a bit more shaky than our new one, still works well. We want to point this out because, despite the downsides, our first FoodVille milk frother performs far better than any of our PowerLix frothers. We are very satisfied with the work of FoodVille and Elisa in customer service at FoodVille. PS When you first receive your FoodVille milk frother it should already be charged, although we did use the iPhone block to charge it up a bit more. Any USB device should work. Also, carefully read the instructions for attaching the foamer tube and mini whisk to the foamer body. Also, if you mainly use one nozzle like we do, there is no need to change the nozzle. We always leave the foam nozzle on. We clean it by spraying cleaner on the foamer tube, turning on the foamer and holding the nozzle in running water in the sink. We just pay attention not to wet the main body of the blower under running water. This method only takes a few seconds. If we are using the frother for more than just making Bulletproof Coffee and it needs a more thorough cleaning, we use a soapy sponge and/or turn it on and dip the frother into a glass of soapy water.
