I love the bright colors and different shapes of these blocks. I also like that they come in a small wooden box to keep everything together, although we always seem to find random blocks around the house. At two years old my daughter found it a bit difficult to string most blocks. Two shoelaces are included (green and purple) and their little fingers couldn't slip the little thing at the end of the shoelaces through the hole and pull them out. After all, initially I mainly did it and made long necklaces. Now almost three years old she can do it for some of the shorter blocks but still has problems with the cylinder blocks and sprocket blocks. Now she likes to organize blocks of different shapes, which is great. For the price, this educational toy is not bad. The only complaint I have is that I noticed very soon after receiving that all the blocks were scratched around the edges; chipped paint everywhere. They look like I picked them up from kindergarten or something. They're probably cheaply made so they can be sold cheaply.
