I've read these shelves can hold up to 15 pounds each. I don't even think I've put 10 pounds of weight on the shelves and they've already warped forward. I tried using the drywall anchors that came with it but they didn't offer any stability. I ended up buying another industrial anchor, but that didn't help stop the shelves from bulging forward. I ended up sending back all the shelves I ordered. If you want to put light picture frames on it you should be fine, but if they are heavy I would look for a different shelf.
