These ear tips are a good idea, but they penetrate so deeply into the ear canal that they pose a risk to those with smaller ear canals. The risk is that like cotton swabs, they push earwax buildup deeper, attacking in the process and can cause tinnitus and other negative side effects, not to mention an emergency room visit, which is undesirable during pandemics. . This has happened to me twice in the past, so I'm very wary of earbuds/earbuds that go in too deep. I think if they had two protrusions these earbuds would be a lot more secure. In terms of quality. - They allow you to filter more sound than, say, EarPeace HD, but still attenuate some high frequencies and make listening to music/playing musical instruments so-so. The standard earbuds seem too small and didn't offer any noise cancellation for me. Larger tips worked better but degraded the sound quality. In my experience they definitely don't reduce the sound more than 5-7 decibels. I probably wouldn't buy them again as earwax could build up.
