I've tried about 15 of these cartridges and hated every one of them. They all made weird noises or were distorted, spat out the tape, made crazy popping noises when you touched the wire = SIGNS. I have a Bose audio system in my car but it's a bit older so it doesn't have any accessories. Save yourself the agony and try Bluetooth cigarette lighter adapters. I got one from the MONSTER brand and it was $15. The only downside is that there is sometimes white noise when no music is playing.
