Order at least a size or two up for a perfect fit! At 5 feet 3 inches and 130 pounds, I usually ride on the border between small and medium. I ordered this jacket in L and since it is stretchy I was able to pull the sides together and zip up easily. But I also knew I was planning on wearing this cold weather running jacket in a layer or two, so I returned the L and ordered the XL and it fits perfectly. two pairs of gloves for when temperatures drop below freezing A pair of running gloves and fold-down cuffs are enough to keep my fingers warm as I warm up and cool down on either end of my run The fabric is stretchy and super soft. All zippers work smoothly. The neck zip is well constructed to prevent pinching, and the zip means I can adjust it with one hand, even when my arms are covered by the fold-down cuffs. The length of the body and sleeves is long. I have a long torso and it still covers my thighs. The style is appealing. The colors are exactly the same as what you see on screen (I ordered an L in navy and an XL in burgundy). The mesh slit in the upper back area is a nice feature. It doesn't let cold air through but encourages airflow when you unzip the front to prevent overheating. what would be better The sides stay close together even when it's unbuttoned to the waist. It doesn't offer good ventilation, and the sides that sway forward instead of flaring out nicely at the sides are annoying. I end up tucking them inward to create a V-neckline. Even in size XL, this jacket is still very tight. Great for running. Not very suitable for everyday use. I was hoping to add this to my casual jacket rotation - it has great internal front pockets for a phone etc. But because the fit is so snug anything in those pockets would look very bulky and odd so most likely it will remain just a sport jacket .
