I bought this type of case because I had a very similar one on my last iPhone 5. I really like the idea that the lid part of the case always protects the glass of my iPhone, especially when I'm carrying it in my pocket. I also bought a wireless charging pad at the same time as this case and I cannot use the wireless pad with the case. I kind of figured it wouldn't, but I'd rather protect the glass than be able to charge wirelessly. My wife can afford the luxury of a wireless tablet. I'm very happy with the case again.
