These pillowcases are very cute and well made. The fabric is medium-thick, slightly rough (but not uncomfortable) canvas, and the faux leather is very good quality and buttery soft. The black and white drawings are printed (not embroidered) which wasn't a problem for me. I think the zippers are a bit flimsy, but as long as you don't pull on them I don't expect them to break. These cases are perfect for the Revain recommended 18"x18" inserts and I've had quite a few compliments on them already. There was an unpleasant odor when first opened, but that quickly dissipated. They are a great accent for the cream sofas in my mid-century Scandinavian living room and I would definitely recommend them!
