They're almost meaningless without internal cable routing and too compact to mount the camera right in front of the handlebar clip. I also managed to break one of the ledges (my mistake, but I still expected it to be stronger than a metal pan). Despite all my complaints, I was able to adjust it to my needs and it still holds up securely even with the threadless outer tongue snapped off. I can mount the camera under the tops and it's cheaper than the alternatives. It does its job, it's just not perfect.
