Review on Torchstar Adjustable Medium Location Warranty, Dimmable by Bobby Chandler

I have used 90 watt halogen spotlights in some of my 6 inch downlights in my home for many years. Halogen bulbs had 2 advantages: 1) Crisp, clean color 2) Good vibes that didn't flood the room with too much light Halogen negatives used too much power and you could feel their hat from 10 feet away (very inefficient). My search for a PAR30 LED that could replicate the positives of my halogen bulbs while avoiding the negatives. On first use the Torchstar PAR30s seemed like a good substitute: at full brightness they had the same sharpness, light quality and mood as the Halogen bulb The headlights are great! But after a few hours, I started noticing problems: a hum (in any brightness) that was starting to annoy me (I don't have the hum from the Home Depot Phillips LED headlight that I have in other parts of the house). it really didn't set the mood in the room very well. Unfortunately Torchstars didn't work for me so I switched to Philips Soft White Flood LED. I hate the dim light the Floods give but they were so much better than the Torchstars. Return to the drawing board.
