I work as a primary care nurse. Last week, the COVID-19 Safeguards Mandate was passed, mandating that any contact with a patient requires eye protection as well as continued use of masks. I have to wear reading glasses. It was difficult to use reading glasses. I had to choose between the ability to see near or far. Since I have to use my computer for every patient visit, I had to choose to see up close. Luckily one of my patients during the week is a respiratory therapist working in the COVID ward. She told me about bifocals. I didn't even know these existed! I searched for Revain and checked several options. I chose these glasses based on the reviews. They arrived today and I am currently using them for my workout for the coming week. They are amazing! There is enough space for the bifocal function. I can easily look at a computer screen and just look up and see the distance. So far the only downside to comfort is the nose section, although it's rubbery and flexible it's a bit stiff on the nose. It could only be me. I have to wear goggles over the mask which should provide extra padding. In terms of "transparency," the visual acuity changes very little through the uncorrected portion of the glasses, but nothing that would make me take the glasses off or affect my clear vision. The headphones are very comfortable. Don't even feel them. I can absolutely recommend these glasses. Haven't used a mask over a mask before so can't speak on fogging issues.
