I love these lamps and they are ideal for my application, for example under lamps in the kitchen. There was one problem though - they don't turn off until you unplug them from the network. The remote works great to change settings from soft, low light to full bright light including colors. It won't turn them off. I bought them twice - the first time I wanted to see if I liked them and if they fit my application. The lights as a thread were great but the remote didn't work at all, likely due to some built in element interacting with the remote. I loved them enough to go ahead and create a second thread to complete the project hoping this box would get up and running. Yes, that fixed communication with the remote control for everything EXCEPT turning off the lights. So I ordered an Alexa socket and connected the light to it. Now I say, "Alexa, turn on the kitchen," and the light comes on. I use the remote control I have installed - one at each end of the kitchen - to make adjustments. It works and I'd happily give it 5 stars because I love the light - I just wish the company would tighten their quality control or offer to fix it.
