To my delight another reviewer who said they fit a 38 inch waist was right. I don't think they fit anyone. larger (maybe up to 40 inches?) because the tension can come off the clasps that close them, but they definitely fit smaller people too. As I am in the process of losing weight it is good to know that these belts are not a waste of money and will fit me even if I lose weight. They were a beautiful, youthful complement to whatever dresses and skirts I tried them with. I ordered a burgundy and navy combo pack and the color was the same as in their photos individually (so nice and dark) not like the washed out and faded picture of them together.
