Highly recommend this e-collar! I have a Border Collie who is now almost 1 year old and is very scared of the Jeep Wrangler that I drive. After replacing a passenger seat, scratching the tint on the windows and door panels, I needed to do something urgently. So I decided to put boots on the front paws and a caged muzzle, but his fear did not subside at all. He was constantly crying, barking, and panting, which was accompanied by salivation. He was confused. It was unfair to me, my other Sundance Border Collie, and it broke my heart to see him like this! I then did a little research and decided to purchase this e-collar and kennel to house him until the behavior stops completely while I train him on the e-collar. In fact, it works to control all behavior. After just one session with a trainer, I saw an immediate improvement. It's been almost three weeks and the behavior is almost gone. He only cries a little. If his crying/whining continues, all I have to do is press the button once and he will stop. It's not a shock, it's a pulse/vibration combined with a sound that gets your dog's attention. I put two tines on the fleshy part of my hand to feel how my border collie felt. It didn't hurt at all, but it got my attention. I hope that with constant training, Redford will experience 2 months of jeep driving without a kennel and no e-collar. I'll keep you posted and post a video of the improvement.
