We have to use our badges to use the printer/copier at work. We just hold them up to the front of the machine, not swipe them. The machine is kind of fickle though - sometimes I hold up the badge, beep, and I’m in. Other times, it doesn’t matter how many different ways I turn it, it refuses to recognize the badge until I take it out of the holder. That means completely unclipping it from the lanyard which is kind of a pain. These have a ziplock type closure so it’s much easier. The larger size makes removing the card from the pocket easier, too. I don’t know how well it’ll hold up over time, but I got the 10 pack, so I have plenty of spares.
