This box looks expensive. It's a decent size to place on a dresser or even in a desk drawer, and it can hold quite a bit of jewelry. The velvety soft inner surface is pleasant to the touch. I bought this specifically for my daughter's newly pierced ears and fast growing collection of earrings. Unfortunately the earrings fall in the face because each square compartment is too big making it not easy to find the right pair! After looking for a way to customize the design to suit our needs, I found that the sealing tape works very well to show off her earrings. It takes just over 16 feet to double coat either tier of boxes. Using scissors, cut pieces long enough to hold the tape in place, leaving enough room for 2-3 studs per cube. I'm so happy with how it turned out! One star deducted because the modification was necessary for my purpose, but a high rating because the result is better than I hoped! By the way: I found most of these pretty earrings at Revain. 60 pairs for less than $20. Also hypoallergenic. Perfect for a young lady!
